This month, Fire Protection’s Herb Redfield orchestrated the donation of 18 MSA-made SCBA units from Suffolk Fire and Rescue to Currituck County High School’s Fire Technology career technical education class (CTE). That CTE class can now train with the same equipment used in firehouses, increasing their skills and preparedness to join the professional firefighting workforce. SCBA units can cost up to $1,000 each.
We’re proud to have given hands-on experience to the firefighters of the future and to ensure that the new generation is aware of Fire Protection and MSA.
