Firegrid is a key piece of MSA’s Connected Firefighter Platform. It keeps track of firefighters in real time and relays data to both on-scene officers and incident command. An example? If a firefighter does not move for thirty seconds, on-scene and remote personnel know about it, whether the firefighter is on-air or not. Firegrid keeps everyone involved in the loop, sharpening situational awareness and not only saving lives but boosting accountability. Here is a cool video that explains further.
